Siem Reap · APSARA DANCE SHOWS
Classical Khmer dance is slow, precise and much older than the buffet it usually comes with. These 15 shows are compared on the size of the company, whether dinner is a set menu or a buffet, seating, and how long the dancing actually runs.

“We really enjoyed the Apsara dance show and the food. We were brought at 18:30, which gave us one full hour to enjoy dinner served as a buffet. The variety and quality of the food were very good. “Vutha is a very kind and accommodating person. He even took us to the supermarket after dinner. The experience was a lot of fun and enchanting. The way they dance is out of this world. Tell you so much about the Cambodian culture. The buffet has a lot of different options of everybody. I would recommend taking a Quick Look at all the items of the buffet before putting food on your plate. Great experience.”

“I was expecting a tuktuk but the driver showed up in a car which was great. We then picked up 2 other ladies who were also solo traveling which was great cause the 3 of ended up having dinner together and chatting tons. The food was varied, plentiful, and great. The dance performance was my favorite part though. The dancers are all so talented and it was beautiful. I was on the fence about this but def recommend!”

“Trajet en tuktuk aller et retour très agréable. Chauffeur ponctuel. Très joli spectacle de danse avec 5 tableaux différents. Beaucoup de couleurs dans les costumes et musique envoûtante. Le lieu semble neuf, très beau à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur. Vaste choix de plats, il est ainsi possible de goûter à toute la cuisine cambodgienne.”

“The show itself was great! They do a great show here. The theater was beautiful. I was picked up on time by the tuk tuk however I didn’t know he was waiting for me because he never called. You guys need to give the drivers our phone number. The food was just ok and it was lukewarm. I definitely have had better local dishes in town this week. Also, my biggest complaint is that there was no buffet option. The description made it sound like you had a choice of the menu or the buffet however, the buffet was not offered at all. I was disappointed. It was so hot…”

“Beautiful apsara dance, fantastic experience with Sokkhen (and Piseth, who coordinated), and copious buffet dinner offering at the restaurant. Sokkhen was so kind and especially helpful, escorting us to a great reserved seat for viewing the show and even taking us around town afterwards since it was our last night there.
